A New Day



The birds are chirping 

The sun is shining 

It’s a new day.


Gone is the darkness and chill of the night

For the sun is shining bright

On this beautiful summer day.


It’s a new day filled with new opportunities 

It’s a new day with new choices.


Yesterday might have brought sadness, trials and hardships 

Yesterday might have not been what you hoped for.


But look up,

A new day is here
